Chris Whitehead has been leading air compliance and permitting projects in New Jersey for twenty years. He is widely recognized as a leader in social impacts and cumulative impacts analysis and has helped numerous state working groups develop their environmental justice (EJ) policies. Chris has led numerous sites through the AO25 and New Jersey EJ law processes.

Chris Whitehead Consulting (CWC) has long time clients in the waste and power sectors and offers critical due diligence and permitting assistance that are needed to get complex projects completed.  He is the host and creator of the Perspectives on Sustainable Development podcast, a side project for him that focuses on providing high quality free education on critical development topics, that has been downloaded in nearly 90 countries. He also teaches a course that he created at Rutgers University Camden Business School titled Societal Impacts of Sustainable Development.
